Chase Robertson started his racing career at the age of eight in a bandolero. Following in the footsteps of his brother, father and grandfather. He progressed as a driver, later getting behind the wheel of full-sized Late Model and Limited Sportsman cars across North Carolina. Chase made his rookie debut at Bowman Gray Stadium in 2019 and has found great success. He captured his very first Bowman Gray Stadium win on June 4, 2022 and has not looked back. Chase went on to win the 2023 Bowman Gray Stadium Sportsman Division Championship, along with the NASCAR Southeast Division 2 Championship. He backed that performance up in 2024 with a tight runner-up finish in the Sportsman points standings.
Chase Robertson comes from a long line of racing history. Beginning with his grandfather Gerald Robertson, who raced at Bowman Gray Stadium for the better part of 30 years in the Modified Division. His son Mike got behind the wheel at Bowman Gray as well, amassing 37 wins across the Sportsman and Stadium Stock Divisions. Mike's oldest son Ryan was the first to get behind the wheel behind of a race car and continues to race on a part time schedule to this day. That brings us to Mike's youngest son, Chase, who currently runs in the McDowell's Heating & Air Sportsman Division at Bowman Gray Stadium.
Chase will continue to race in the Bowman Gray Stadium Sportsman Division throughout the 2025 Season. His team is also working on events at Caraway Speedway in Sophia, NC, as well as opportunities to run the Valleystar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway this fall.
